Lisa Albrecht is currently serving as Second Trombonist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music where she received the Remington Scholarship and Performer’s Certificate. Ms. Albrecht has also held positions with the New York Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra, San Antonio Symphony, and Honolulu Symphony, and has performed with orchestras around the world, including the London Sinfonietta, Czech National Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, St. Louis Orchestra, St. Petersburg Orchestra (Russia) and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. She has also performed regularly at Lincoln Center, on Broadway, and with the early music ensembles Spiritus Collective and New York Collegium. For the past three seasons she has served as trombonist with the Lake George Opera in Saratoga Springs, and the Key West Symphony. A frequent recitalist and clinician, Ms. Albrecht has been a soloist at the International Trombone Festival, Lieksa Brass Week (Finland), Eastern Trombone Workshop, and the New York Brass Conference. She has served on the faculty of the Juilliard School Pre-College Division and teaches at the Eastman Summer Trombone Institute.
Paul Bellino received a Bachelor’s degree in performance from the Eastman School of Music where he was awarded the Remington Trombone Scholarship as well as a Brass Quintet Fellowship Award. Mr. Bellino holds a Masters degree in Orchestral Performance from the Manhattan School of Music where he was awarded a full scholarship and the coveted John Clark award for outstanding accomplishment in Brass Performance. Currently he teaches at Vassar College and Our Lady of Lourdes High School, performs as Second Trombonist with both the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and Springfield Symphony (MA), and is Principal Trombone with the Peninsula Music Festival Orchestra of Wisconsin. Mr. Bellino also performs regularly with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and New York Philharmonic. He has toured the Caribbean, Japan, Europe and throughout the United States and South America as Assistant Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic.
Michael Meidenbauer is Bass Trombonist of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. He serves on the faculty at Schenectady County Community College, Skidmore College and maintains a private low brass studio. As a free lance trombonist, Mr. Meidenbauer performs regularly for touring musical productions and regional orchestras and has recently performed with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Key West Symphony and the Orchestra of Northern New York. He formerly served as Principal Bass Trombonist with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra, South Africa. Prior to his current positions, he taught band for several years in the New York State public schools. Mr. Meidenbauer holds a Bachelor’s degree in music education from the Crane School of Music and a Master’s degree in performance from the Indiana University School of Music.
Brad Ward is a free-lance trombonist in the New York and Philadelphia areas and maintains a private studio Mr. Ward performs with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and Reading Symphony as principal trombone and is second trombone with the Peninsula Music Festival Orchestra of Wisconsin. He has performed with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Long Island Philharmonic, Pennsylvania Ballet, Delaware Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, New York City Opera and other orchestras throughout the US and Asia. Mr. Ward holds a Bachelor’s degree in trombone performance from the Crane School of Music and a Master’s degree in trombone performance from the Indiana University School of Music.
